Yamaha has recently updated its popular sportsbike YZF-R3 for 2025. This bike has been introduced with new design and features. Now this updated Yamaha R3 has also been patented in India. Assist and slipper clutch have been added to make riding more smooth and comfortable, which will make gear shifting easier even at high speeds. Overall, the new R3 has not only improved in looks but has also brought some necessary upgrades, which will make it more fun in terms of riding.
Which features will be missed?
Even though the company has upgraded the Yamaha R3, it still lacks some features, such as it does not have features like color TFT display, traction control, multiple riding modes and quickshifter, which are present in its competitors. For example, all these advanced features have been provided in Aprilia RS 457 and KTM RC 390.

The Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 41.4bhp and 29.5Nm of torque. The engine is extremely smooth and powerful, making it one of the best sportsbikes in the sub-500cc segment.

The company will bring this bike to India through the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, which means that it will be imported directly from Japan. This may increase its price.
